Willow Springs Center
Willow
Springs Center is a 76-bed residential treatment facility helping children and
adolescents ages 5-17 recover from emotional, psychiatric, behavioral and chemical
dependency problems. Founded in 1988, Willow Springs Center's staff and comprehensive
programs are dedicated to a common goal: assessing children, teens and families,
identifying problems and developing treatment plans with solutions.
The Center is accredited by the Joint Commission
on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and by the state of
Nevada as a psychiatric hospital. It is a member of the American Association
of Children's Residential Treatment Centers.
Residents live in a dormitory-type setting providing
a 24-hour therapeutic environment and full-time interdisciplinary clinical and
medical staff. A secured (locked) setting and consistent staffing allow
patients to feel and to be safe.
There is a gym, playground, spacious courtyard
for recreational activities and the Challenge by Choice
ropes course.
