Whisper Ridge Behavioral Health System

Whisper Ridge offers young people ages 13-17 the opportunity for residential treatment in a safe and secure environment. The program prepares these young people for a return to a home, a less restrictive environment, or to independent living.

The primary focus is on encouraging constructive change and personal growth, positive ways to get appropriate attention, improved behavior choices, a sense of responsibility for actions, problem solving skills, and the development of thinking patterns that support positive relationships.

The 60-bed facility is located in the center of Charlottesville, close to the University of Virginia.
