The Center for Intensive Evaluation and Rapid Stabilization Units provides acute treatment for patients with emotional disorders and psychiatric illnesses including, but not limited to:

  • Schizophrenia
  • Delusional paranoid disorders
  • Psychotic disorders
  • Debilitating character pathology
  • Major affective disorders that include severe behavioral problems

We focus treatment on intensive evaluation, crisis intervention and stabilization, and working collaboratively with community-based services.

Treatment Methods:

  • Individual, group and marital/family therapy
  • Recreation therapy
  • Educational groups on various behavioral health topics
  • Pharmacotherapy as indicated
  • Communication groups to enhance self-esteem
  • Chemical dependency treatment
