Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center staff

Patient safety is our number one priority at Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center. We limit the items that patients can bring into the hospital.

We do not allow items, such as:

  • Belts
  • Shoe Strings
  • Lighters
  • Mirrors
  • Food from the outside

We recommend that patients leave valuables, such as watches, jewelry and money at home. For specific questions regarding valuables and other restricted items, please call (757) 496-3500.
