Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center (VBPC), a freestanding hospital located in Virginia Beach, VA, offers acute psychiatric and substance abuse services for children, adolescents and adults. One of the hospital's unique components is a mobile assessment team. Clinicians from the team can be triaged to local hospitals, emergency rooms, medical offices, schools and businesses for on-site crisis evaluation.

Through specialized programs that include dual diagnosis treatment, substance abuse rehabilitation, medical detoxification and the women's program, our team of health care professionals help to provide rapid stabilization, evaluation and therapeutic treatment of our patients in a supportive and safe environment. Adult partial hospitalization is also available for psychiatric and substance abuse patients.
