Vicki Burdine, M.D. – Medical Director
Dr. Burdine joined the medical staff of Valle Vista Health System as Medical Director in January of 2003. She received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her residency at IU School of Medicine and Ohio State University. She is board certified in general and geriatric psychiatry with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Jennifer Comer, M.D. – Child, Adolescent, and Adult Inpatient and Outpatient Psychiatrist
Dr. Comer is joining the medical staff on January 2, 2007. Dr. Comer is a graduate from Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Comer has worked for Indiana University Hospital. She is a board certified in adult psychiatry and board eligible in child, and adolescent psychiatry.
Jennifer Sloan, M.D. – Outpatient Services Program Director
Dr. Sloan joined the medical staff at Valle Vista in May of 2005. She received her medical degree and completed her residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. Her past experience includes privileges at Wishard Memorial Hospital, St. Clare Medical Center and Meridian Psychological Associates. She is board certified in psychiatry with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Vikram Patel, M.D. – Adult Services Program Director
Dr. Patel started at Valle Vista in August of 1999. He received his medical degree from the B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He is board certified in psychiatry, neurology, and geriatrics. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and Indiana Medical association.
Sajal Bose, M.D. – Chemical Dependency Services Program Director
Dr. Bose joined Valle Vista in April 1999. He received his medical degree from Lucknow Christian College in India and completed residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He has since served as Medical Director for Psychiatry Services at Seven Counties, Captain of Medical Corp, U.S. Army Reserves and a consulting psychiatrist for Life Spring Mental Health Center and Central State Hospital.
James Gaither, M.D. – Internal Medicine & Addiction
Dr. Gaither joined Valle Vista in January of 2003. He is a graduate from Indiana University School of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Addiction Medicine.

John Kreimer
John has been promoted to Director of Risk Management and Performance Improvement. John’s previous position was Risk Management/Performance Improvement Coordinator. As Valle Vista continues to upgrade our facilities, improve customer service, and increase accountability in an effort to be the provider of choice in the mental health market, an effective and productive performance improvement effort has never been more critical. John will provide the necessary leadership to achieve this vital goal. John earned his B.A. from IndianaUniversity and serve in various roles in freestanding psychiatric hospitals. John began his career at Valle Vista in August of 2000 as an overnight Psychiatric Technician.
