Adolescent Intensive Outpatient

This after-school program provides mental health and substance abuse treatment to adolescents ages 13-17 and their families. The hours are Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Sierra Vista Hospital Outpatient Services Building located behind the main hospital.

The program includes groups on a variety of topics, including:

  • Depression
  • Eating disorders
  • Self-harm issues
  • Substance abuse
  • Anger management
  • Communication skills
  • Stress management
  • Behavior management
  • Coping skills

Attendance in the program is usually 4-8 weeks and includes a weekly family night meeting to provide the family with education and support.
