San Marcos Treatment Center

San Marcos Treatment Center has been in continuous operation for more than 65 years providing high-quality mental health evaluation and treatment to a unique population of impaired adolescents. Many of our patients have experienced multiple treatment failures, are difficult to manage, and have a complex array of behavioral, neurodevelopment, or neuropsychiatric problems.

Location

San Marcos Treatment Center is located on 65 acres in the Texas hill country 25 miles south of Austin and 50 miles north of San Antonio. With its abundance of trees and wildlife, this idyllic setting provides a healthy environment particularly suitable for an adolescent treatment facility.

The 190 beds of San Marcos Treatment Center are divided into multiple living units. Included on the campus are a school complex, swimming pools, gymnasiums, sports court, ROPES course, vocational programs, and a cafeteria.
