Jason Foundation Inc. Grand Opening

The Jason Foundation Inc. is a nationally recognized non-profit organization that provides educational materials and resources about youth suicide at no cost to recipients. It was founded in 1997 after the tragic death by suicide of the younger son of Jason Foundation's president and CEO, Clark Flatt. The primary purpose of the Jason Foundation is to equip teachers, youth workers, parents and young people with the information and resources they need to help in the battle against youth suicide.

An educational luncheon with attendance of 238 was held on March 13, 2008. The Jason Foundation Inc., presentation on "Teen Suicide: Awareness and Prevention" was given by Clark Flatt.
