Admission Criteria - Palmetto Pee Dee Behavioral Health
Any youth experiencing psychiatric symptomology or classified as severely emotionally
disturbed will be considered for admission. This includes youth who have a history
of PTSD and victimization, aggression, self-harm behaviors, sexually reactive
behaviors, substance abuse issues, suicidal or homicidal tendencies, psychotic
features, mild to moderate MR, and developmental delays.
Youth with a recent history of fire setting, or who have been adjudicated for
a sexual offense will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
A universal application, medical certification, and DHHS form 254, are required
for all agency referrals/Medicaid funding. Private insurance also accepted.
