Admission Information

Admission Criteria

• Axis I psychiatric diagnosis
• Client is unmanageable in a less restrictive environment and requires the structure of a secure residential treatment program
• Client has symptoms and/or behavioral manifestations of mental or emotional illness which significantly interfere with age-appropriate social, educational, or family functioning
• Client must be medically stable
• Client has been screened and approved by the agency coordinating the placement
• Client is not actively suicidal, homicidal, or psychotic

Admission Process

Providing the following clinical information at the time of the referral will facilitate the process:

• Psychiatric evaluation
• Psychosocial history
• Current medications
• Legal history
• Name of legal custodian/Custody order
• Funding Information
• Placement/Treatment history
