Partial Hospitalization Program

Partial Hospitalization is an on-campus adult day program that offers the intensity of acute inpatient care without having to stay overnight in the hospital. Partial Treatment is a great way to get immediate intervention from a psychiatrist, nurse and licensed therapist, which can often prevent hospitalization. Partial programs are also a great step down option for inpatient care. Each patient entering the adult partial program will have an individualized treatment based on his or her needs. The program operates from 8am to 3 pm Monday through Friday.

Advantages of PHP:

Patient continues to live at home, but comes to hospital for care.
Weekly psychiatric oversight and supervision
Skilled nursing interventions
Multi-disciplinary treatment team
Stabilization of condition that would otherwise result in hospitalization.
Hospital stays may be shortened by "step-down" to PHP
Less-intensive, less-expensive alternative to hospitalization.
Specialty programs available
Patients with dual diagnosis can participate in both tracks of PHP programs
