Substance Abuse Services: Inpatient Program
Inpatient Program
Chemical dependency treatment is one of the cornerstones
on which Montevista is based. Helping people to recover from addiction and regain
healthy and productive lives has been our focus and specialty for 20 years.
Our medically managed programs are both, highly structured and individually
crafted to provide each patient with the necessary skills for a successful recovery.
Utilizing the 12-Step principles in conjunction with behavior modification,
our licensed and degreed alcohol and drug counselors help patients gain valuable
knowledge about their disease, relapse prevention, rebuilding healthy relationships
and integrating coping skills into their daily lives.
Dual Diagnosis
A dual diagnosis occurs when an individual is
affected by both chemical dependency and an emotional or psychiatric illness.
Montevista's Dual Diagnosis Program combines the treatments for psychiatric
illness and chemical dependency, enabling both problems to be addressed simultaneously.
This means acknowledging the complex relationship between these two problems
and allowing individuals to follow a program that focuses on their recovery
needs for both, their chemical dependency and their psychiatric illness.
Inpatient, Partial, and Intensive Outpatient
services are available.
A full continuum of care
Montevista's continuum of care for adults includes:
- Hospital based detoxification (medical model,
patients seen by physicians)
- Inpatient Rehabilitation
- Partial Hospitalization
- Outpatient Intensive Rehabilitation
- Aftercare
Montevista also offers intensive outpatient rehabilitation
for adolescents. Recovery 101 is an intensive four-week program designed for
adolescents (ages 12-17) and their families struggling with drug and/or alcohol
problems. The program runs for four days per week for three hours each day.
Once our patients have achieved the 12 steps
to recovery, we continue to provide structure and support following discharge.
Montevista places strong emphasis on after care, with individualized relapse
prevention plans, weekly support groups and an active alumni program.
Recognized by medical authorities for successful
treatment programs
Healthcare and law enforcement professionals
can fall prey to addictive disease just like anyone else. Montevista offers
