Physicians

Paul Barothi, M.D.

Dr. Barothi graduated from medical school in Romania. Upon moving to the United States, he completed an internship at John Peter Smith Hospital. He completed his residency at Vanderbilt University, where he later was an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry. Dr. Barothi is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with a secondary specialty in Addictions. Dr. Barothi is fluent in six different languages, including German, French, Romanian, Hungarian, Italian, and Spanish. Dr. Barothi joined the staff of Millwood Hospital in 2008.

Robert Bennett, M.D.

Dr. Bennett is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed his residency at St. Luke's Hospital in New York where he was chief resident. Dr. Bennett is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Bennett treats both adult and adolescent patients, and also conducts psychoanalyses. He joined the staff of Millwood Hospital in 2003, where he is currently the Director of the Excel Adult outpatient program.

Rupinder Bhatia, M.D.

Dr. Bhatia graduated from medical school in India. Upon moving to the United States, he completed his residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, as well as completing a fellowship specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UT Southwestern in Dallas. Dr. Bhatia is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with a secondary specialty in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Bhatia currently heads our clinical trials research program. He joined the staff at Millwood Hospital in 2001.

Ernest Brownlee, M.D.

Dr. Brownlee is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston. He completed his post-graduate training at Timberlawn Hospital in Dallas. Dr. Brownlee is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He treats adult patients. Some of his specialties include neuropsychiatry, treatment of somatic disorders, dissociative disorders, and forensic psychiatry. Dr. Brownlee is a member of the clinical trials research team here at Millwood Hospital. He is also a licensed Baptist minister. When Dr. Brownlee is not working, he enjoys raising, showing, and training purebred Arabian and national show horses. Dr. Brownlee joined the staff at Millwood Hospital in 2002, where he is the Medical Director.

Louis Costello, M.D.

Dr. Costello is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital, and a fellowship specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Children's Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Costello is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with a secondary specialty in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Costello is a member of the clinical trials research team here at Millwood Hospital. When Dr. Costello is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family. Dr. Costello joined the staff of Millwood Hospital in 2000, where he is currently the Medical Director of the inpatient Child/Adolescent unit, and the Medical Director of Excel Lewisville Child/Adolescent outpatient program.

Hemant Day, M.D.

Dr. Day graduated from Christian Medical College in India. Upon moving to the United States, he completed his residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UT Southwestern in Dallas, where he has also participated in research regarding bipolar disorder in children and adolescents. Dr. Day has been on the staff at Millwood Hospital since 2004, where he is currently the Medical Director of the Excel Fort Worth Child/Adolescent outpatient program.

Seema Haque, M.D.

Dr. Haque is a graduate of Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, where she was in the top 10% of her class. Upon her arrival to the United States, Dr. Haque completed her post-graduate education at John Peter Smith Hospital and UT Southwestern in Dallas. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Haque specializes in the treatment of geriatric patients, where she has had training that includes dealing with dementia, patients in nursing homes, and Alzheimer's. She has spent seven years treating older patients in outpatient clinics, as well as treating residents in area nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Dr. Haque joined the staff of Millwood hospital as of February 2008.

Gary Malone, M.D.

Dr. Malone is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston. He completed his residency at Timberlawn Hospital in Dallas. Dr. Malone is a graduate of the Dallas Psychoanalytic Institute, where he was also appointed to the faculty. He is certified in adult psychoanalysis. He is also a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Malone was a recipient of the Medical Director Award for Outstanding Contribution to Continuing Medical Education. Dr. Malone enjoys basketball and is an avid Dallas Mavericks fan. He joined the Medical Staff of Millwood Hospital in 2006.

John Marshall, DO

Dr. Marshall graduated from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (now the University of North Texas Health Science Center) in Fort Worth in 1983. Prior to that, Dr. Marshall was a professor of English and English and American Language and Literature. Dr. Marshall completed his post-medical school education at the Dallas/Fort Worth Medical Center in Grand Prairie. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, and certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He has been an assistant clinical professor at the University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Marshall has been affiliated with Millwood Hospital since 1995, where he is currently the Medical Director of the Chemical Dependency Program.

Tarakumar Reddy, M.D.

Dr. Reddy graduated from medical school in India. Upon moving to the United States, he completed his residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, New York. He also completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York State. Dr. Reddy is certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with a secondary specialty in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Reddy joined the Medical Staff at Millwood Hospital in 2003.
