Studies show that the incidence of addictive disorders in psychiatric patients is high. Combining the treatments of chemical dependency and a psychiatric illness can result in a more positive outcome.

Millwood's dual diagnosis program integrates treatment for both mental illness and chemical dependency, enabling both problems to be addressed simultaneously. This means acknowledging the complex relationships between the dual problems, as well as creating a unique, integrated and long-term treatment plan for each patient.

We provide a specialized treatment team with expertise in addiction theory and treatment, mental illness and psychopharmacology.
