Millwood Hospital offers crisis stabilization for adults in a confidential, caring environment that promotes crisis resolution, positive self-awareness, social skills and personal growth.

Signs for Concern

• Suicidal feelings and thoughts
• Extreme anger and/or dangerous behavior
• Physical or sexual abuse
• Anxiety and panic attacks
• Depression
• Trauma
• Hallucinations or delusional thinking
• Phobias

Treatment Program

• Services provided by a psychiatrist and a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals
• Adult evaluated to diagnose any medical or biochemical origins of disease
• Individualized treatment plans focused on attainable short and long term goals
• Dual diagnosis program offered for patients with both chemical dependency and mental health issues
• Ongoing care provided through discharge planning to facilitate a successful adjustment back to daily activities
