Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta

Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta is a 106-bed residential behavioral health facility serving the needs of children and adolescents. The facility provides a highly structured and therapeutic milieu that contributes to the improvement of our residents' daily functioning. The facility also has a fully functioning private school located on campus that is approved by the Georgia Department of Education and fully accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission. Our residential services are fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Our recently expanded treatment services include in-home therapeutic wraparound services. This specialized service treats children and adolescents with a non-traditional, community-based approach.

During the summer of 2007, we will open a full array of child and adolescent outpatient services. These outpatient services, which are approved by Georgia Medicaid and the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Addictive Diseases, include the following:

• Diagnostic assessments
• Physician assessments
• Individual therapy
• Family therapy
• Group therapy
• Crisis intervention
• Community-based case management
