Transportation is provided for adolescents and adults who need transportation to treatment programs at Laurel Ridge. For adolescent or adult lab work needs, special transportation may be arranged.

Adults

For adults, there are four convenient pick-up and drop-off points around the city.

  1. Kelly Lackland Park & Ride - van route 1
    Arrive - 7:20 a.m.
    Depart - 7:30 a.m.
    Drop off - 4 p.m.
  2. Medical Center Pick-up - van route 1
    Arrive - 8 a.m.
    Depart - 8:10 a.m.
    Drop off - 3:30 p.m.
  3. Randolph Park & Ride - van route 2
    Arrive - 8:05 a.m.
    Depart - 8:15 a.m.
    Drop off - 3:25 p.m.
  4. South Cross & 410 Pick-up - van route 2
    Arrive - 7:30 a.m.
    Depart - 7:40 a.m.
    Drop off - 3:50 p.m.

Adolescents

For adolescents ages 13-17, transportation is arranged on an individual basis. Van will pick up adolescents at their home.

Transportation FAQ

Q: Where are the pick-up points for adults and adolescents?
A: Adults will only be picked up at the four designated pick-up sites. Adolescents will only be picked up at their homes. Special arrangements can be made with the program coordinator.

Q: Do you provide return transportation to the park and ride destinations for those in the half-day program?
A: Not at this time. You must make an arrangement for a prompt pick-up at Laurel Ridge at 11:50 a.m.

Q: Is there a fee or a charge for the transportation service?
A: Not at this time.

Q: Are the vans marked as belonging to Laurel Ridge?
A: No, the vans are white with no markings.

Q: How do I apply for the transportation program?
A: Fill out a transportation application. You can get one from any Laurel Ridge staff member.

Q: What if I get sick or if I can get my own ride every so often?
A: Please let the drivers know by contacting Laurel Ridge Transportation at 491-9400.

Q: Are there rules and safety guidelines that my child or I must follow?
A: Yes. Any Laurel ridge employee can give you our transportation brochure that has the rules and safety guidelines enclosed.

Q: Will adolescents be transported with adults?
A: No. Separate vans will be provided for adults ages 18 and above and for adolescents ages 13-17.
