- Educate community members on the diagnoses of Mental Retardation and Pervasive Developmental Disorders
- Partner with community members to offer opportunity for residents to "practice" learned social skills and appropriate behaviors
- Lead by example: Demonstrate to the residents the qualities of "Being a Good Community Member"
