Hughes Center for Exceptional Children

The Hughes Center serves males and females 13 to 22 years of age diagnosed with mental retardation and an Axis I diagnosis or pervasive developmental disorder/autism.

Our goal is to help these young men and women learn how to be successful in their home, school and community.

We believe each child has the ability to be successful with:

• The appropriate guidance
• Skill building
• Vocational training
