therapists and technicians. The focus of care is on reality orientation and
sensory integration. Basic activity of daily living skills are provided and

The Chemical Dependency Program
The Chemical Dependency Program provides both Detoxification and rehabilitation for the patient with substance abuse disorders. The program is also equipped to address dual diagnosis psychiatric issues that often accompany the disease of addictions.
Detoxification is carried out under the direct supervision of the attending
physician. The facility's medical staff utilize American Society of Addiction
Medicine (ASAM) and National Association of Private Psychiatric Health Systems
(NAPPHS) approved protocols to provide safe, comfortable detoxification from
alcohol and other drugs of abuse.
The Program recognizes and utilizes a 12-step model for treatment of addictions.
Patients in the program are given an introduction to 12-step and are provided
with an opportunity to begin their individual step journey as part of their
treatment. Multiple 12-step support groups use the facility as a meeting place,
thus affording patients to experience exposure to these venues while under the
supportive care of the treatment team.
The CD program realizes the impact that addiction has on the whole family system. As such, family sessions and education with family members is available and highly encouraged as part of the plan of care.
