Community Relations
Fort Lauderdale Hospital demonstrates commitment to our community through our Community Relations Department staff. These individuals are dedicated towards:
-
Serving the families of patients and potential patients from Florida and throughout the United States.
-
Developing and maintaining good relations with physicians, hospitals, police departments, schools, community mental health agencies, and other allied health professionals.
Community Relations functions to educate the community at large about the services
available at Fort Lauderdale Hospital, as well as health-related topics as they
apply to addictions, mental health, and dual diagnosis. Staff is available to
handle inquiry and provide site visits for members of the professional community.
Additionally, staff from the hospital is available to meet with groups and organizations
to provide information on a wide variety of specialty topics related to the
field.
The overall goal of Community Relations is to facilitate the expansion and refinement of our programs to provide the best continuum of care to the patients and families being served. We thank you for visiting our site and invite you to contact us for further information.

The support group will be facilitated by a NAMI group leader. The groups will
be held on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month and will start on May
