Public Service Programs
Fox Run The Center for Children and Adolescents offers four public service programs to schools, day care centers, head start programs, and the general public.
Building Self-Esteem
This is a 30-60 minute program brought into the school. The length of
time is based on grade level kindergarten through 12th grade.
Building self-esteem is a program designed to help teach children and adolescents to have a high regard for themselves and others. There is discussion and interaction with students to recognize the difference between low and high self-esteem. The message the program communicates is that every person is unique, and that uniqueness is what makes us all valuable.
Teamwork
Teamwork is a 2-3 hour program brought into the school. The purpose of
the program is to instill a sense of working together as a team to achieve the
task at hand. The task/game is designed in such a manner that every person
must cooperate and contribute to accomplish the end result.
There is interaction between the instructor and students in the discussion
of teamwork and how it can be applied in the school, home, and with friends
and peers. The lessons are learned in a fun and innovative way.
Alpine Tower
The Tower experience stems from the "paring concept"partners who are
physically connected and naturally needing to work together to ascend the tower.
