Focus by the Sea

Focus by the Sea is a 101-bed psychiatric and addictive disease hospital that has served Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas and the remainder of the Southeast since 1982. Focus by the Sea treats adults and adolescents with mental health issues and has developed specialty programs to meet the unique needs of patients who are dually diagnosed with mental health issues and co-existing substance abuse disorders.

The hospital is located on beautiful St. Simons Island, Ga., halfway between Jacksonville, Fla., and Savannah, Ga. This serene, resort island setting enables the patient to concentrate on their recovery, and the hospital's comfortable and supportive environment helps to put the patient at ease.

The island location helps to ensure the patient's and family's privacy and anonymity. Rigorously enforced rules and laws governing confidentiality also protect the patients and their family members during treatment.

Focus by the Sea is fully licensed by the State of Georgia and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
