Fairfax staff is available around the clock to answer questions, make referrals to other providers in the community as needed, and to offer face-to-face assessments prior to admission when indicated.
Many insurance plans, as well as Washington State Medicaid (DSHS) plans, now require pre-authorization for psychiatric hospitalization. In order to ensure that patients are eligible to receive healthcare benefits, Fairfax will attempt to obtain pre-authorization for hospitalization whenever possible. In order to accomplish this, it is important that patients be able to provide information about their insurance coverage, if any, prior to admission. We welcome the assistance of the referral source to expedite this process.
