The Excel Center

The Excel Center was established in Fort Worth in 1993 as a specialized treatment center to meet the needs of children and adolescents ages 5-18 who have emotional, behavioral and/or chemical dependency problems. An affiliate of Millwood Hospital, the Excel Center is a less restrictive environment, offering partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs in our freestanding outpatient facility.

The Excel Center for Adults in Arlington opened in March 2001. The Excel Center in Lewisville opened in January 2007.

The Excel Mission

Our mission is to provide consistently superior, cost-effective outpatient mental health and chemical dependency services to children, adolescents, adults, seniors and their families in collaboration with community organizations and professionals. We offer a safe environment that will foster resilience and strengthen the family through treatment, education, and support. Our endeavor will focus on restoring balance to the family system, introducing stress reduction strategies and fostering the development of life skills to assist the patient and family in realizing a brighter future.
