4th Monday Collaborative Case Studies

4th Monday CEUs are a forum by which clinical cases and/or topics are presented by local behavioral health care professionals. The purpose is to utilize collaboration of community resources to maximize longer term benefits for patients and families in Tarrant County.

All licensed counselors and therapists receive 2 CEUs, a little networking and a light lunch at no charge!

Wesley Ragle presents "Teen Motivational Interviewing: Stages of Change." The concepts of "patient noncompliance" and motivation often focus on patient failure. Understanding patient readiness to make change, appreciating barriers to change, and helping patients anticipate relapse can improve patient satisfaction and lower clinician frustration during the change process.

Wesley is the Dual Program Clinician for Adolescents at the Excel Center in Fort Worth.
