Copper Hills Youth Center
Copper Hills Youth Center is a 141-bed residential treatment center for adolescents 12 to 17 years of age. The Center provides a highly structured and safe environment where residents begin to work on the issues that have caused them distress.
Care is provided for treatment-resistive adolescents needing increased structure and 24-hour supervision, including those who have failed outpatient care or who no longer require acute care.
Copper Hills has developed the following specialized programming/units for adolescents:
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Lower-functioning youth (IQ between 60 and 75)
- Gender-specific programming
- Youth involved in sexual misconduct
- Substance abuse
In addition, Copper Hills provides a day-treatment program for youth who do not require the structure of a residential program. Individualized treatment, a therapeutic community, and an accredited private school are included in all programming. For more specific information please visit copperhillsyouthcenter.com.
