Child/Adolescent Residential Treatment

Mountain View Place

Growing up presents many challenges for our young people today, but for some children and adolescents the obstacles they face seem insurmountable. Parents and caregivers offer all the help they can, but the problems grow and persist. Sometimes a change of environment and intensive therapeutic treatment is exactly what is needed to help the child or adolescent transition to new habits and attitudes, a healthier lifestyle, and genuine hope for the future.

Mountain View Place is the child and adolescent residential treatment facility at Cedar Springs Hospital. Using comprehensive, solution-focused therapies, our staff works with each child to develop insight into his or her behavior and to identify positive ways of navigating difficult emotions and cultivating healthy relationships.

For the children and adolescents who come to Mountain View Place, we offer a structured, secure environment and a safe place to learn and change. We deeply value the role of the family in the healing of our patients, and we treat the family as a vital, integral component of our patients´ treatment. The typical stay for our residents is 90 to 180 days.
