- 24 hour, 7 day a week crisis evaluation, triage, referral, and admissions

- On-campus day treatment special education program for children identified with behavioral problems

Program Components:
- Group, individual, and family therapy
- Therapeutic milieu
- Individualized education services, including special education, IEPs, and GED preparation
- Care management and discharge/aftercare planning
- Comprehensive medical, nursing, psychosocial, and occupational therapy assessments
- Psychopharmacologic management, as needed
- Intensive outpatient drug and alcohol education, recovery skills, relapse-prevention
treatment, and family support
- Sexual offense specific treatment

Treatment Options:
- Residential Program - a program for the treatment of attachment disorder among
children and adolescents, age 4-17, with a strong emphasis on family education
and training workshops.
- Acute Program - Stabilization, crisis intervention and specialized services
for children, adolescents and adults. Detoxification service is available
for patients with dual diagnosis.
- Adult Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program - For adult abusers
of any mood-altering drug, including alcohol, street drugs, or prescription
medications.
- Residential Program - A staff secure, CHAMPUS-approved program that provides
comprehensive treatment for children, ages 6-18, with specialized family/caregiver
services.
- Residential Program for Sexually Reactive Boys - A staff-secure social model
program for sexually reactive boys who require long-term treatment of sexual
problems, based on a cognitive rehabilitative model that employs a positive
peer environment.
- School Day Treatment - A year-round school that emphasizes behavior management
and self-control with improved academic and social skills.
Education:
Patients attend the Southgate School, a year-round program that includes state-certified
special education teachers, master level therapists, and mental health workers.
Student to staff ratio is 6:1.
