Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)

This is a day treatment program designed as an alternative to hospitalization. Clients may enroll directly into the partial program or may be "stepped down" from an inpatient setting.

Partial hospitalization provides a structured, supportive environment and personalized care for individuals not requiring inpatient services. Our program is offered Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Transportation is available for clients located in our local geographic area.

Treatment is provided to achieve short-term stabilization of immediate crises and consists of:

• Individual therapy
• Group therapy
• Education groups
• Family therapy
• Physician care

Skilled nursing care is provided as well as routine treatment supervision by a psychiatrist. Partial hospitalization is time-limited and concludes when the patient's immediate presenting problem is stabilized or resolved.

This program is for patients with a primary psychiatric diagnosis who require intensive support and structure but not 24-hour supervision. Dual diagnosis programs are available for adults and adolescents with a secondary chemical dependency diagnosis.
