Acute Inpatient Care
Canyon Ridge Hospital provides a safe and friendly environment with a full continuum of care for adults and adolescents with severe emotional, behavioral or chemical dependency problems. Our programs are designed to provide crisis intervention and stabilization to individuals requiring a structured inpatient setting.
Canyon Ridge Hospital also offers dual diagnosis treatment, which emphasizes detoxification and rehabilitation for persons recovering from alcohol or drug addictions.
Our inpatient services include:
- A highly trained and licensed assessment and referral staff who are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- A personalized treatment program that emphasizes a strong cognitive approach to providing crisis intervention, short-term stabilization, transition from inpatient to the appropriate outpatient programs, and follow-up support.
- An acute care unit that is aimed at identifying the patient's immediate needs, providing the education and structure needed to stabilize them, and enabling them to continue more long-term work on an outpatient basis.
- An intensive care unit that is designed for the patient who is a danger to self or others and needs a high level of structure to ensure their safety.
- A highly qualified team of social workers who are committed to making sure that all patients are in an appropriate living environment, including necessary outpatient treatment, when they are discharged from the hospital.
