Substance abuse and problem gambling are diseases that have a profound effect on every aspect of a person's life. Many times our clients are suffering from the consequences of their addiction as they face broken families, difficulties at work or school, legal issues, health concerns, and also very importantly, a broken relationship with God.
They may feel very distant from God and may be feeling a great deal of shame and guilt. Those who are ready to seek treatment have often realized that they are unable to break the power of addiction on their own and need to turn it over to God.
Calvary Addiction Recovery Center believes it is essential to assist each client in exploring their relationship with God, and beginning a strong spiritual foundation for their recovery. We recognize that each client may be in different stages in regard to their spirituality and we commit to meet each client at their point of need.
