Adult Dual Diagnosis and Treatment Program

Purpose

Brentwood offers focused, intensive treatment in a safe and nurturing environment to men and women who struggle with the combination of mental illness and chemical dependence problems. Some common psychiatric disorders often found in combination with an addiction are:

  • Post-Traumatic Disorders
  • Anxiety
  • Schizophrenia
  • Phobias

Goals

Brentwood strives to improve our clients' quality of life with control of psychiatric symptoms, improve their motivation and self direction, and help them develop coping skills necessary to maintain a healthy and sober lifestyle and recovery.

Treatment

The Brentwood Dual Diagnosis Program provides an integrated approach to treatment in which mental disorders and chemical addiction are addressed simultaneously. The inpatient program consists of numerous treatment modalities tailored to meet the special needs of each individual.
