Guy E. Brannon, M.D. - Director of Adult
Psychiatric Unit
Dr.
Guy Brannon is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine in
Shreveport, where he completed his residency in psychiatry. Dr. Brannon currently
serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at LSUHSC. He also serves
as Deputy Coroner for Psychiatry in Caddo and Bossier Parishes, and is the physician
for the Volunteers of America. Dr. Brannon is also a Clinical Investigator for
Brentwood Research Institute.
Gregory Brown, M.D. - Medical Director
and Child/Adolescent Unit Director
Dr.
Greg Brown is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine in
Shreveport, and received his general adult psychiatric training at the University
of South Florida College of Medicine. He completed his child and adolescent
psychiatry fellowship at Tulane University in New Orleans, and is board-certified
by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both general and child
and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Brown is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at
LSUHSC. He is currently the Director of Youth Services Program and serves as
President of the Medical Staff at Brentwood. Dr. Brown also serves as the President
of the North Louisiana Psychiatric Medical Association.
James S. Harrold, M.D. - Director of Adult
Chemical Dependency Unit
Dr.
James Harrold graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit,
Michigan, and completed a senior elective one-month rotation in psychiatry service
at the Harvard School of Medicine, before interning at Yale University School
of Medicine. His psychiatry residency and fellowship in substance abuse were
both completed at Yale University School of Medicine. In addition to diplomat
status in the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, the American Board
of Forensic Medicine, and the American Board of Forensic Examiners, he also
holds certification by the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the American
Academy of Pain Management and the American Association of Medical Review Officers.
Gregory Seal, M.D.
Dr.
Gregory Seal is an honor graduate of the Louisiana State University School of
Medicine in Shreveport. He completed his Internship/ Psychiatry Residency at
Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base, and, during this
time, he was appointed as Chief Resident. From 1992 to 1996, Dr. Seal practiced
psychiatry at Nellis Air Force Base. While there, he earned the rank of Major
and was promoted to Chief of Psychiatry. He also held a private practice in
Las Vegas for some time before moving to East Texas in 2000. Most recently,
Dr. Seal has been the Chief of Adult Psychiatry at the East Texas Medical Center
in Tyler. He is board-certified in general psychiatry by the American Board
of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Seal is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor
Medical Society and the American Psychiatric Association, among others.
