The Adolescent Acute Program
This program provides specialized treatment for adolescents 12 to 17 for such problem areas as depression, oppositional/defiant behaviors, learning difficulties and sexual/physical abuse. An intensive treatment program is available for the adolescent in crisis. In-Home Community-Based Services This program provides 24-hour per day, 7 days a week, home-based counseling services for children, adolescents, and their families. Services include an individualized treatment plan that may utilize social/behavioral skills, individual/group counseling, family counseling, parenting training, affect/impulse management skills, and alcohol and drug education.

The Adolescent Residential Treatment Unit
This is a program that provides treatment services to adolescents requiring a highly-structured, supervised therapeutic environment. The program serves adolescents ages 12 to 18 whose persistent and severe emotional difficulties interfere with adequate functioning at home, school or community, and who are not likely to respond to a less-restrictive level of care. Adolescents who participate in the program develop skills and techniques that help them establish behavioral self controls. As a result, these adolescents are able to function within a less-structured environment in the community.

The Adolescent Male Insight and Adolescent Female Insight Programs
This is an intensive residential care model designed to treat males and females from ages 12 to 18. Treatment revolves around their psychiatric and behavioral problems, which are treated concurrently. Clinical treatment components are designed to appropriately confront socially inappropriate, aggressive, impulsive, and self-destructive acts. Utilizing professional clinical services, youth learn new and improved internal self-control and management of their illnesses. Adaptive skills in different areas are taught until criteria demonstrating competency are met.

Residents are taught to identify emotional strengths and limitations, master mental health and thinking patterns, control poorly developed views, correct patterns of negative behavior, dismantle regressed fears and anxieties, manage emotional triggers, and practice relapse prevention techniques. Our staff develops an individualized treatment plan for each youth by defining treatment modalities and services needed to help the youth overcome his issues. Group, individual, and family therapy, recreational and educational activities play a key role in the successful treatment of these youth. Substance abuse services are also available for identified youth.
