How to Get Experience
Internships exist for currently enrolled college seniors in the areas of
Psychology, Social Work, Recreation, Nursing, Physical Education and Special
or Regular Education. Internships locations are in South Hampton Roads,
Virginia. If accepted as an intern, ABS adheres to the guidelines set by

Description of Duties:
Intern will assist Communications Coordinator
in all phases of public relations activities including video editing,
researching and developing newsletters; updating company website and
intranet sites; creating flyers and brochures as needed; maintaining an
up-to-date file of employee recognition program; writing and editing
articles; and other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications: Interested students should be dependable and have basic
computer skills; interact well with people; have the ability to do
Internet research and use proper phone etiquette; possess effective oral
and written communication skills.
College
Major: Public
Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Mass Communications, English, and/or a
related field
Number of Hours per Week: 15 - 20
Flexible Hours to Work: 8:30 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m.
